MY THEORY:

The observed 'disappearance' of physical information in a black hole is all but an illusion.

For as information enters a black hole, it is converted into dark matter. To accept this theory, one must accpet that all physical matter is made up of dark matter and that the two are not two separate entities, but one of the same.

Perhaps this would also explain why dark energy is found in cluster in galaxies.

This would make a black hole a giant wood chipper which grinds physical matter back into its original most primal state, which is dark matter.

The notion of physical matter which enters a black hole being compressed into a dense singularity is partly true. Instead information is shred back into the dark matter from which it was formed, which accounts for the abundance of dark matter in the universe.

All dark matter congeals into physical matter, but will break down again, in a constant waxing and waning or creation and destruction.
